Step-by-Step Written Instructions for setting up your ads campaign

Objective

  • Select Create new campaign

  • Choose your Objective (see topic on how to choose your objective)

  • Give your campaign a name and entire CBO (Campaign Budget Optimisation) is switched on

  • Select Daily or Lifetime Budget and allocate ad spend

  • Add a spending limit for this campaign if necessary (not essential) and click the blue button to proceed

Ad Set

  • Select your audience – location, age etc or use custom/lookalike/saved audiences

  • De-select the placements you don’t wish to use such as Audience Network

Creative (Ad)

  • Make your copy engaging and make it clear what you want that person to do when they see your ad

  • Remember to format your visual for different placements

  • If you are creating a Traffic or Conversion Campaign, build an URL Parameter if you feel confidence in doing so

  • Remember to make your Headline engaging also check your headline fits across all placements

  • Consider adding an Instant Experience
