We previously told advertisers not to give Facebook carte blanche to target anyone it wants to by ticking ‘audience expansion’ but things have changed and repeated testing shows that this renders better results, by giving FB that flexibility to step outside of your chosen parameters.

Please note – Facebook will never expand on your age, location or gender if you tick this. These will remain fixed – they will only expand on interests and behaviours.
