Using the Messages Objective

The Messages Objective is seriously underrated – Ads agencies rarely use it for their clients, because, well, it’s a bit if a faff getting the client to respond to the messages in a timely manner – and ultimately often means the agency has to do it themselves when clients don’t.

But when you do have the time / resource to provide a prompt reply the results can be incredible.

Unlike the Lead Gen objective, people don’t need to provide their details at first – many people like to get one or two responses from a business before agreeing to hand over their personal data. We are also living in the era of instant gratification – that person wants to see that their message has been read IMMEDIATELY.

I recommend trying this objective IF you can provide a fast response (under 2-3 hours) and if your business is in the following areas:

  • Beauty / hair
  • Fitness
  • Law
  • Courses / Training
  • Marketing or web design
  • Leisure and Hospitality (spas, hotels, restaurants)
  • Cleaning or carpet cleaning businesses
  • Accounting or business services

It is not ideal for E-commerce, events, businesses with a physical product.
